New York is the most populated city in the state of New York, with 8.175.100 habitants, with a density of 6.731,83 hab/km².
It is the center of the metropolitan area in New York's State, since the late nineteenth century is one of the world's leading centers of commerce and finance. New York is considered a global city because of its global influences in media.
The city consists of five borough, each of which coincides with a county, The Bronx, Brooklyn, Mannhattan, Queens and Staten Island.
The city is also the birthplace of many American cultural movements, such as the Harlem Renaissance in literature and visual art, abstract expressionism (also known as the New York School) in painting, and hip hop, 5 and Tin Pan Alley Punk6 in music.

The luxury shopping of Fifth and Madison Avenues are also a major attraction for the more affluent sectors. Another new attractions are for artificial waterfalls and impressive with a height of 30 and 40 mteres work of Danish artist / icelandic Olafur Eliasson. These artificial waterfalls are located on the East River and you can see from the ground and also from boats.

Central Park:

In the area ther is a number of large financial buildings, stock market, the Federal Reserve, and the Trinity Chirch, mid-century, Ghotic style, which is an Episcopal chirch. It's medieval presence of air strikes in the middle of the straight and massive buildings of the bench.
